Golf Tip- Putting

Putting is a very important part of the game,

what I would like to talk about is the speed of the ball entering the hole.

Take your wedge and lay it down in front of the hole and from 3 or 4ft I want you to putt, if your ball stops on the shaft your speed is to slow, if your ball jumps the shaft at a great pace then your speed is to fast, but if you train to hit the ball so it just goes over the shaft into the cup your speed is perfect.

try it may just help you into the cup more often

Tennis Tip- Serving

Lets look at the service action, its very similar to throwing a tennis ball or vortex etc, the elbow tucks in points to the fence behind, then the arm, elbow and wrist reach up very high either to let go of the ball or throw the racquet at the ball.

If you use your weight and momentum to move upwards you will throw and release the racquet with great force.

This is done by swinging the racquet down and up into the power loop position or flat behind your back, from here we go upwards to the ball with a nice flat racquet face at contact.

Practice swinging the racquet as a dry dry drill or without a ball, letting the body move up with throwing action to the ball, if done smoothly you to will build a strong serve like Pete Sampras.
